In 2017, my father, Arya Pathik Girish Khosla, Vanprasthi the grandson of Acharya Ramdev ji, commissioned the biography of Acharya Ramdev ji. This great work was taken on by Late Dr. Vinodchandra Vidyalankar ji and published by Hitkari Prakashan Hindon. The book published in 2017, “Arya Sanskriti Ke Sanvaahak: Acharya Ramdev” [आर्य संस्कृति के संवाहक : आचार्य रामदेव] became popular around the Arya Samaj circles.
Then suddenly one day, Dr. Vivek Arya (Delhi) approached Girish Khosla ji that he in his personal library had a collection of “Vedic Magazine And Gurkul Samachar, published by Acharya Ramdev ji”.
I [Bhuvnesh Khosla], the son of Girish Khosla ji found out about this conversation, and got in touch with Dr. Vivek Arya ji. During the 2018 International Arya Mahasammelan, Dr. Vivek Arya very graciously gave the original print copies of the Vedic Magazine as a loan to me. I proudly brought these books back to United States and started to read them and then published select articles in Arya Pratinidhi Sabha America’s bimonthly magazine, Navrang Times.
Over the years, Dr. Vivek Arya remained in touch, and we both talked about creating an archive of such material which should be preserved and presented for the modern world. At this time, Sh. Priyanshu Sethi ji also joined this project in helping to search for the original print editions, and then scanning them. For months, he would get the print editions scanned, and share the PDFs.
Hence this website was created as a project to preserve the works of my great-great-grandfather, Prof Acharya Ramdev ji. His writings and works were ahead of his time. My goal is to maintain this website to preserve the works of Acharya Ramdev ji, and hopefully my family, and especially the next generation would remain inspired by these works.
