Acharya Bramdeo ties the Strategic Sustainability Goals to Vedic Principles

During the 1st session of 32nd Arya Maha Sammelan, Acharya Bramdeo ji laid the foundation for the Sammelan Theme: Sustainable Roadmap to Disseminate Sanatan (Vedic) dharma. He very beautifully drew a parallel to Vedic Teachings, the Principles of Arya Samaj to the very founding principles and ideals of United Nations. He gave an example of Sustainable Development Goals of Poverty Eradication and tied it to Aprigrah.

Acharya Ankit Prabkar describes Vedic Dharma as Sanaatan in its true sense.

Acharya Ankit Prabhakar started with 3 definitions – Puraatan, Nootan and Sanaatan. He described Puraatan is something that existed before, but is not important or relevant today. Nootan as something that is new, did not exist in the past, and will not be relevant in the future ie. technology. Sanaatan is something that has existed for ever, is relevant today and will also be in the future. He described that the Vedic Principles laid out by Rishi Manu in Manusmiriti, as Dharma – has all the elements that are required and relevant for survival of all living beings. These principles apply to all, and or not limited to one race, kind, location, religion or sect. He explained the difference between authentic and non authentic.

Sh. Sanjay Jain shared the VSS Houston model

Sh. Sanjay Jain, President of Arya Samaj Greater Houston gave an introduction to Vedic Sanskriti Schools. He described how VSS has been successful in instilling the Vedic Values in younger generations. He offered helped to Samajs all over to start their own VSS Programs. He also introduced the Global VSS Program that is available to who areas who do not have the infrastructure yet to support an in-person school. The Global VSS Program is available to students everywhere. The classes start will run from October 2022 thru June 2024.
